ABOUT LIZ LEMON SWINDLE

LIZ'S BACKGROUND

Born on January 13, 1953, Liz Lemon Swindle is a world renowned artist famous for her realistic paintings of faith and religion. Liz studied fine arts at Utah State University where she tutored under popular wildlife artist Nancy Glazier. In the early 1980s, Liz began her career working as a set designer and painter at Osmond Studio Television Productions. 

LIZ'S CAREER

Liz's early work focussed primarily on wildlife, but in 1992 she began painting a subject matter she had long desired to approach: her faith. Today her paintings are admired by millions of people from all different religions and faiths. Throughout her career, Liz has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including:

Founders Favorite Award - National Arts for Parks Competition (1988)

Blessing of thanks from Pope Benedict XVI for her artistic contributions to Rome

Karl G. Maeser Distinguished Faculty Lecturer Award in 2000

LIZ'S LEGACY

Her paintings are now held in corporate and private collections around the world and have been published in countless magazines and books. Liz and her husband Jon have five children and thirteen grandchildren.
