16 X 20 Oil on Canvas - Of all the disciples Christ chose to have follow him, one of the strangest choices was Matthew. The Chosen does a wonderful job of creating in the tax collector one of the series’ most unique characters. We see here Christ with a big grin on His face moments after He has invited Matthew to join his flock. It is Matthew's response of "Who? Me?" that has caused Christ to smile so broadly.
